Curriculum Standards & Goals

Curriculum standards for Diocese of Bridgeport Catholic Schools are developed and regularly updated through the Office of the Superintendent of Schools. Religion curriculum standards are formulated by the Office of the Superintendent in consultation with a committee of educators and are approved by the Bishop. These standards serve as the foundation for curriculum development at each school.

At Diocese of Bridgeport Catholic Schools, our curricular goals for English Language Arts, Mathematics, Religious Studies, and other academic disciplines are designed to provide students with a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success. While all schools follow diocesan curriculum standards, our dedicated teachers and staff tailor instruction to meet the diverse learning needs, strengths, and interests of their students.

Serving families throughout Fairfield County, our Catholic schools are located in Bethel, Bridgeport, Danbury, Fairfield, Greenwich, Newtown, Norwalk, Ridgefield, Stamford, Stratford, and Trumbull. Each school is committed to fostering academic excellence, faith formation, character development, and a supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.
