Connecticut Catholic Conference
The Connecticut Catholic Conference was incorporated under the direction of the Bishops of Hartford, Bridgeport, and Norwich in September 1968.The Ukrainian Stamford Diocese was added in 1979. The Bishops envisioned a unified Catholic voice that would enunciate the Church’s social justice and economic message to the branches of the State government. The Conference serves as a unified voice for public affairs at the state and federal levels.
