Letter from Superintendent

Welcome to the Diocese of Bridgeport Catholic Schools website. Our schools are committed to providing our students with the best possible educational experience where they will flourish due to an enriching academic program that is infused with Catholic values and prepares them to become the responsible, thoughtful, and productive Catholic citizens that God intends.

It is our belief that we best set children up for future success as we enrich the intellectual, social, physical, psychological AND spiritual capacities of each child within our 20 elementary schools, 4 high schools and 1 school for special needs. Students are encouraged to explore their academic potentials while grounding their learning in values that promote compassion, justice, and service to others.

We are blessed to have teachers and administrators who are committed to offering a rigorous, holistic, and personalized education to the children entrusted to their care. These men and women are devoted to taking the gifts that each child has been blessed with and guiding each to grow in knowledge and wisdom while providing a safe and nurturing environment.

We pride ourselves in working in partnership with the parents of our students. We understand that they are the first teachers of their children and together we create a community that supports each other in the mission of preparing our young people for lives of purpose. This relationship fosters a sense of belonging and collective responsibility for the educational journey of each student, reinforcing the partnership between home, school, and Church that is central to the Catholic educational experience.

The Catholic schools within the Diocese of Bridgeport stand as a testament to the enduring commitment to provide a transformative educational experience. Through the integration of faith into learning, it enriches the lives of students and strengthens the fabric of the communities we serve. Our young people grow to not only be products of the stellar Catholic educational tradition, but pillars of it.

Please take some time to visit the websites of our schools and read about their accomplishments, unique curriculum, service projects, and technology, arts and sports programs. Each of our schools is a unique faith community. Be sure to explore our Schools page and set time for a personal tour. I am certain you will find more than a school, you will find a family.
