Curriculum Standards & Goals
The curriculum standards are developed and updated through the Office of the Superintendent of Schools. Religion curriculum standards are formulated by the Office of the Superintendent in consultation with a committee of educators and approved by the Bishop. These standards shall serve as the foundation for curriculum development on the school level.
At the Diocese of Bridgeport Catholic Schools, our specific curricular goals for each subject are described within section of ELA, math, and religious studies. Because the students within our 26 schools have diverse needs, the skilled teachers and staff in each of our Catholic schools tailor their lessons to meet the learning styles of their students. Based in Fairfield County, we are proud to welcome students across Bridgeport, Stamford, Norwalk, Danbury, Stratford, Newtown, Trumbull, Fairfield, and Shelton, CT.
